Emily’s approach is collaborative, relational, and grounded in the belief that meaningful change can begin with greater awareness of what has shaped us and how it continues to influence our lives. Her work is informed by Somatic Experiencing®, depth psychology, and an interest in the ways emotional pain, relational patterns, and life experiences are held in both the mind and body.
She works with children, teens, adults, couples, and families navigating trauma, anxiety, ADHD and neurodivergence, relationship challenges, life transitions, grief, religious trauma, and questions of identity, spirituality, and meaning.
Emily understands that people often develop ways of managing life and protecting themselves when certain emotions or experiences feel too difficult to face alone. She believes therapy can offer enough support and safety to begin approaching those experiences with greater curiosity and gentleness, making space for what is present and for what may be ready to shift.
She attended Pacifica Graduate Institute and has pursued further study in body-oriented and integrative approaches to healing. Her background also includes yoga and Reiki training, which continue to inform her interest in embodied and holistic approaches to emotional well-being.
